Definition of Awesome

Moving ate my life

It has been a long while since I posted....

to bring things up to date I have moved back to the San Francisco Bay area and am looking into getting a job in the hair industry.....went to school in Canada (god I miss Canada) and figure its time to use that knowledge....

I have a review to deliver for Matthew Hughes Template and will have that up this week - Thanks to Mr. Hughes for the electronic copy...

well I have a tithe job to go to so I will post again soon...

Post Destruction thoughts

Another Post about 7th son.

JC in the episode chit chat (you get that through his feed and not on the podiobooks one) mentioned how hard it was for him to get through the last book of the series and now that its done for me I can see why. The amount that I felt for the characters that did not make it and for the ones left behind is a testement to howwell he jas written the tale and the strength of the characters. I listen at work and it was tough, really tough to get through the last several episodes withoout tears streaming down my face; that is actually a good feeling sometimes.

In hutchins tradition I raise my immaginary glass of my beverage of choice to the living and the lost in the world of 7th son.

Those of you yet to listen do so....you may thank me.

JC I will miss your comforting voice and getting cliffhangered by you - look forward to the code Phantom project (whatever that is) ..... its back to the house of hate that is siglerism for me I guess.......don't worry scott I still compl...umm I'm still a junkie at heart

Delta....Gamma Clone?

For those that have yet to discover the action thriller goodness that is JC Hutchin s 7th Son do yourself a solid and go to his site here - 7th Son - and give it a listen. he has gotten a print deal and the trilogy will be seen on shelves in 2009 (March I believe).

I would say like Siglers stories you - and really any new story - you have to give it a few chapters to get its hooks into you (yeah I'm reading Infected now - so...... and yes I get the creeps anytime I have an itch). but JC will get you addicted just like the Future Dark Overlord. Oh and dont' let his nice exterior fool you - his characters are not safe from death and pain.....there is much to be handed out here too in that regard.

JC if you ever read this thanks much for all the entertainment, and I pity the studio that tries to make a movie out of this....they are seriously going to break the bank doing it right.

more worth my time...

Since I find my work not worth my time what do I do find worth the investment....and why should you find the same....

At work I can listen to things that interest me....things that stimulate my mind....

Today I listened to the second chapter of Jon Armstrong's Hugo nominated novel Grey. ( http://www.jonarmstrong.com/). I had seen the novel on the shelves and was curious about it but did not pick it up....and it is really worth my time. Its funny I got into fashion through my taking a course in Make-up for TV and film...I have don't some live theatre work ... but I am still interested in fashion....some of the cool things done with makeup are done in the fashion industry....

This book really captures that world and gives it life in a setting that seems really intriguing. Go listen to a chapter or listen to the interview he does on Adventures in Sci Fi Publishing....I cant wait to listen to more....

Its work you time .... really lots more then the magazines its sprung from
